I was walking in the streets of Chicago with friends on labor day Sunday on our way to a mall plaza when the girls became attracted to the this ice cream vending van to get something to “refresh” our walk. I didn’t want the ice cream but I was very much interested in the graphics and illustrations on the car.
I noticed that twice on the car the word vanilla was misspelled “vainilla”. I am an ESL speaker and could spot it.
Knowing that kids are their main and target audience I really wonder it would have been a good idea to advice the seller to fix this or to tell the kids in line that this was not how to write vanilla. Talking to the kids was easier… 🙂
